A coaching session at sunset

For entrepreneurs and executives

One day without an agenda does more than a week's vacation.

No techniques to achieve something and no program to be completed. A day where the pace slows down, so that what lies beneath the busyness becomes visible.

A vacation interrupts the pace. These days investigate it.

Three day retreats in the Utrecht region, and five days of immersion in Andalusia. Small groups, calm rhythm, embodied inquiry.

What is different here

No more learning. Perceiving differently.

A nervous system that has been on high alert for months or years does not exit that state by a simple decision. It requires rhythm, and time in which nothing needs to be decided. That is what a day like this does: it slows the pace long enough to notice what lies beneath.

What changes then is not what you know, but what you notice. Decisions that seemed self-evident turn out to be a choice. Tension that seemed part of the job turns out to originate from somewhere. And the question you arrived with sometimes turns out not to be the question.

“I noticed how I had a tendency to eat quickly, as if haste had become a habit I no longer consciously chose.”

Nothing is added. Something is removed — and what remains was always there.

Day Retreats 2026–2027

Three days, three gateways.

Each day retreat focuses on one theme, with the same foundation: a calm rhythm, embodied inquiry, and time to let what arises land. From 09:00 to 17:00 in the Utrecht region, with a maximum of fifteen participants.

A day of slowing down

An introduction to the methodology from the book.

A broad introduction to integrative work, coinciding with the publication of The Meaning and Nonsense of Being. No specific theme or target group — a day to experience what happens when you slow down the pace.

Connective leadership

For those who lead and notice that steering yields less than it costs.

Your state partly determines what a team can feel and dare — and that happens before a single word is spoken. A day about leading from connection instead of control.

Five-day · Andalusia

What a day opens, five days can deepen.

An immersion in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada: early mornings in silence, walks through olive groves and mountain paths, evenings in which the body lets what the day brought forth land.

Five days do something one day cannot. A nervous system needs about three days to truly settle; what follows comes from a different layer. This cannot be rushed, and it is the reason this format exists.

Guided by two facilitators, with a maximum of fifteen participants — a closer circle than a single day can offer.

The five-day retreat does not stand alongside a coaching trajectory but follows it. Those who have completed a day or a trajectory of individual coaching arrive here with something that five days can truly encompass. Starting here is also possible — but then the preliminary conversation is more important.

The rhythm of a day

What happens on such a day.

No performance, no homework, no circle where everyone must take turns saying something. Instead, a rhythm slow enough to let the forward-thinking settle.

  1. 09:00

    Arrival

Tea, a brief introduction, and the opportunity to set down what you arrived with. No one needs to introduce themselves by what they do.

  2. 09:30

    Morning

Working around the theme of the day: alternating exercise, conversation, and silence. The exercises are simple — directing attention, noticing what happens — and you decide for yourself how far you go.

  3. 13:00

    Lunch in silence

A prepared meal, without conversation. For most participants, this is the moment when the pace truly drops — often unexpectedly, and frequently the most mentioned part.

  4. 14:00

    Afternoon

Deepening of what emerged in the morning, with space for individual work. Those who wish to contribute can do so; those who prefer to observe, do that.

  5. 17:00

    Closing

A quiet moment to let what has been land, and then farewell. Friday evening lies before you, and the weekend behind it — that is no coincidence.

You do not have to share anything you do not want to share. Participation can also be in silence, and that happens more often than you think.

For those who choose

Four forms, one method.

They do not exclude each other, but they require a different pace and a different depth. What remains the same in all four is the attention: slower than usual, and broader than just what is being said.

Day retreat

One day to experience it

The shortest way to notice how this works, without committing to anything. For many people, this is the beginning of the rest.

Individual coaching

Ten sessions, and the time in between

For those who want to work on something specific, at their own pace. Two hours per session, spread over several months in consultation.

Team Coaching

Working with what is not said

For those who notice that the question does not lie with one person but between people. Three half-day sessions with the entire team, preceded by individual conversations.

Five-day

Five days to deepen

For those who notice that one day is too short to truly let go of what is stuck. A nervous system needs more than one day to settle.
