2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to every offer in the shop on stevenstephania.com, to every order you place there and to every agreement that follows from it. They do not apply to coaching, training or other services — those are arranged separately.

You can read and save these terms before entering into the agreement. At checkout you confirm that you have read them.

3. Offers and prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping is charged separately and is shown before you confirm your order. In the Netherlands the statutory fixed book price applies.

An offer is valid while stock lasts. Obvious mistakes or errors in an offer — a price that is plainly wrong, for instance — are not binding on us. If we discover such an error after you have ordered, we will tell you as soon as possible and you may cancel free of charge.

4. How an order becomes an agreement

The agreement takes effect when we confirm your order by email. If no confirmation arrives within a day, check your spam folder and otherwise contact us. Keep the confirmation; it records what you ordered and what you paid.

5. Payment

Payment is handled by Mollie, using the methods shown at checkout (including iDEAL and credit card). Your payment details go straight to Mollie; we never see them. We ship once payment has been received.

6. Delivery

We deliver to the Netherlands and Belgium. Shipping costs € 5.85 within the Netherlands and € 9.50 to Belgium. If you live elsewhere and would still like to order, email us and we will tell you the shipping cost before you buy.

Delivery normally takes two to three working days after your payment is received. That is an indication, not a guarantee. By law we deliver within 30 days at the latest. If we cannot, you may cancel the agreement free of charge and we refund everything within 14 days.

Until the moment of delivery, the risk of damage or loss is ours. If your parcel arrives damaged, let us know and we will put it right.

7. Right of withdrawal: 14 days to change your mind

You may cancel the purchase without giving a reason within 14 days of the day you received the book. You do not have to explain why.

How to do it

Tell us within those 14 days by email at coaching@stevenstephania.com, or use the model form at the bottom of this page. A clear email is enough; the form is not compulsory. We will confirm that we received your notice.

After giving notice you have another 14 days to return the book to:

Costs and refund

The cost of returning the book is yours. We refund you within 14 days of your notice, including the delivery charge you paid on the order. We may wait until we have the book back or until you have shown that you sent it — whichever comes first. We refund using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.

Condition of the return

You may handle and inspect the book as you would in a shop. If you go further than that and the book loses value as a result, we may deduct that loss from your refund. So please return it with care, ideally in the packaging it arrived in.

8. Conformity and what happens if something is wrong

What we deliver must be what you could reasonably expect under the agreement. If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, email us within a reasonable time of discovering it. We will send a replacement or refund you, and in that case the shipping costs are ours. Your statutory rights always apply, alongside anything stated here.

9. Complaints

If you have a complaint about your order or about us, email coaching@stevenstephania.com. We respond on the substance within 14 days. If we need longer, we will say so within that period and tell you when you can expect an answer.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can bring your complaint to the European ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/odr. You are of course also free to go to court.

10. Your data

We use your details only to handle your order and to keep what the law requires us to keep. How we handle them is set out in our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

Dutch law applies to these terms and to every agreement. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country.

Model withdrawal form

Only complete and return this form if you wish to withdraw from the agreement. An ordinary email saying the same thing is equally valid.
